Nyack (pronounce /ˈnaɪæk/) is a village in Rockland County, New York, United States. The village straddles the border of the Town of Orangetown and the Town of Clarkstown. It is situated on the west bank of the Hudson River, directly across from Tarrytown, New York . Nyack had a population of 6,737 as of the 2000 census.
