Omaha Steaks is a family business base in Omaha, Nebraska, that manufactures, markets, packages, and distributes premium beef, seafood and other foods. It was founded in 1917 by Latvian emigrants J.J. and B.A. Simon as the Table Supply Meat Company, taking the name from the previous occupants of the building, the Table Supply Company. It has used the name Omaha Steaks in marketing since 1966.
