One Foot in the Grave was a BBC television situation comey series written by David Renwick. The show ran for six series, with several specials, over a ten year period, from 1990 to 2000. The series featured the exploits of Victor Meldrew, played by Richard Wilson, and his wife, Margaret, played by Annette Crosbie, in their battle against the trials of modern life.
