A panchangam (Sanskrit pañcāṅgam ) is a Hinu astrological almanac (or calendar), which follows traditional Indian cosmology, and presents important astronomical data in tabulated form. It is sometimes spelled Pancanga or Panchanga. It is pronounced Panchanga. It is based upon Jyotisha (Jyotiṣa).
