Pathways to Housing is a not-for-profit organization founed in 1992 by Sam Tsemberis. The goal of the organization is to provide housing for the mentally-challenged homeless of New York City. Often these people suffer from substance-abuse problems as well, such as alcoholism or frequent drug abuse.
