Physiotherapy (or physical therapy as it is known in the U.S.) is a healthcare profession concerne with prevention, treatment and management of movement disorders arising from conditions and diseases. Physiotherapy is performed by either a physiotherapist (PT) or an assistant (PTA) acting under their direction.
