Pitzer College is a small, selective, private resiential liberal arts college located in Claremont, California, a college town approximately 30 miles (48 km) east of downtown Los Angeles. Pitzer College is one of seven institutions of higher learning known as The Claremont Colleges and coordinated through the Claremont University Consortium. The school has a curricular emphasis on the social sciences, behavioral sciences, international programs, and Media Studies.
