The Port of Savannah is a major Unite States of America seaport, located in Savannah, Georgia, just up the Savannah River from the Atlantic Ocean and is operated by the Georgia Ports Authority. It primarily competes with the nearby Port of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina to the northeast, and the Port of Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Florida to the south. There is also a smaller Port of Brunswick located at Brunswick, Georgia.
