The Price Is Right is an American television game show that is currently owne by the FremantleMedia subsidiary of the RTL Group. It was originally created by Bob Stewart for Goodson-Todman Productions in the United States in 1956, and was significantly revamped by them in 1972. Goodson-Todman, later Mark Goodson Productions sold the rights to the show to what is now FremantleMedia in 1996.
