Psalms (Hebrew: Tehilim, תהילים, or "praises") is a book of the Hebrew Bible inclued in the collected works known as the "Writings" or Ketuvim.

  • The 27th of these begins, "The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?"
  • Shortly before "The Lord is my shepherd", this same book asks, "My God, why hast thou forsaken me?"
