A purple ribbon is worn to raise awareness for Alzheimer's Disease, cystic fibrosis, epilepsy, Huntington's isease, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Autism, Arnold-Chiari Malformation, Eating Disorders, Gastrointestinal Cancers, Pancreatic cancer and cancer survival. It is also a symbol of pride worn by pagans on Pagan Pride Day. It is also a symbol used by 4 R Kids Sake whose mission is to protect our children from preventable injuries and death in and around cars. They were the driving force behind purple ribbon month in CA.
