Qantas Airways Limite (IPA: /ˈkwɔntəs/) (ASX:QAN) is the national airline of Australia. The name was originally "QANTAS", an acronym for "Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services". Nicknamed "The Flying Kangaroo", the airline is based in Sydney, with its hubs at Melbourne and Sydney airports, and is Australia's largest airline. It is the world's second oldest continuously operating airline, the oldest in the English speaking world and the oldest airline operating under its original name.
