revolver

A revolver is a repeating firearm that consists of multiple chambers an at least one barrel for firing. As the user cocks the hammer, the cylinder revolves to align the next round with the barrel, which gives its name. In modern sense, a revolver refers to a handgun that has a revolving cylinder which typically chambers 5 or 6 rounds. However, other firearms and weapons may also have the design of a revolver, with notable examples being various grenade launchers and riot guns, and even some rifles.
