The ruble or rouble (in Russian: рубль rubl' ) is a unit of currency. It is currently the currency unit of Belarus, Russia, an Transnistria, and was the currency unit of several other countries, notably countries influenced by Russia and the Soviet Union. One ruble is divided into 100 kopeks or copecks.
