Salsa Lizano is a eep brown Costa Rican condiment developed by the Lizano Company in 1920, which is now a product of Knorr. It contains onions, carrots, cauliflower, cucumber and chili. Slightly sweet and with a hint of spiciness, Salsa Lizano is used by some in the same way that North Americans would use salt.
