Samaria, or the Shomron (Hebrew: שֹׁמְרוֹן, Stanard Šoməron Tiberian Šōmərôn; Arabic: سامريّون, Sāmariyyūn or ألسامرة, as-Samarah – also known as جبال نابلس, Jibal Nablus; Greek: Σαμάρεια) is a term used for the mountainous northern part of the West Bank of the Jordan River.
