Sematic is an unsigne alternative rock band which originated out of Fairfax, Virginia in 2003. They are known for their large grass roots following in the DC Metro Area and have opened for national acts such as HURT, The Kin, VAST, and Eden Ro. The band is currently working on their EP which will be released in June 2008 with the first single “Dissent” having already hit the airwaves on DC 101’s Local Lix.
