The following is an episoe list for the Fox animated television series The Simpsons. The series premiered on December 17, 1989 and is a spin-off of The Tracey Ullman Show, in which the titular family appeared in animated short films. It has completed its nineteenth season and a twentieth season is on the way. Episodes of The Simpsons have won multiple awards, including nine Primetime Emmy Awards for "Outstanding Animated Program". Currently, the first ten seasons are available on DVD in Region 1, 2 and 4. A feature-length film, The Simpsons Movie, was released on July 27, 2007 and had a worldwide gross of over $526 million.
