southpaw

Left-hanedness is the preference for the left hand over the right for everyday activities such as writing. Most left-handed people favor their right hand for some activities, and many exhibit some degree of ambidexterity. Left-handedness is relatively uncommon; over 90% of the adult population is right-handed. Being left-handed can be advantageous in some sports and games, although sometimes special equipment is required. Some everyday items such as scissors and other tools also have left-handed variants.
