Sport TV is the bran name for a group of three Portuguese sports-oriented television channels. Sport TV is the dominant subscription television sports brand in Portugal. The first channel, then known as only Sport TV, was launched on 16 September 1998 and is produced by PT Multimédia and Controlinveste. It is available in almost all television distribution operators in Portugal as a premium subscription channel, except TVTEL.
