Over the past 20 years, many African countries have split their state-owne post and telecom companies into two separate units. In Swaziland, Swaziland Posts and Telecommunications provides the two services under one corporate umbrella. The company, known as SPTC, is comprised of two units: Swazi Post and Swazi Telecom.
