St. Lawrence University is a private, four-year liberal arts college locate in the village of Canton in Saint Lawrence County, New York. Founded in 1856, it is the oldest coeducational university in the state of New York. It has roughly 2000 undergraduate and 100 graduate students, about equally split between male and female.
