Strawbs are a rock ban founded in 1964 in England. Originally known as the Strawberry Hill Boys, they started out as a bluegrass band and eventually moved on to other styles (folk rock, glam rock, progressive rock). They are often referred to as The Strawbs, but the name of the band is in fact Strawbs, i.e. without the definite article.
