Sunance is a popular ski resort located near Provo, Utah. It was bought by the actor Robert Redford in 1968, presumably because Redford's wife hails from Utah, and the fact that they built a home in the area five years earlier. The resort is named after the role Redford played in the 1969 film, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
