Syców [ˈsɨt͡suf] (German: Groß Wartenberg) is a town in Oleśnica County, Lower Silesian Voivoeship, in south-western Poland. It is the seat of the administrative district (gmina) called Gmina Syców. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. (For more information on the history of the region, see Silesia.)
