Take Me Or Leave Me is a song in the secon act of the musical RENT written by Jonathan Larson. The song is sung as a fight between two of the main characters, Maureen and Joanne, who are lesbian lovers. Joanne starts the song complaining that Maureen flirts with everyone, male or female. Maureen replies by telling Joanne to accept her for who she is and if she can't, then she can take her or leave her. Joanne interrupts by telling her that she likes organization, but she loves her anyway. Maureen turns the tables and won't accept Joanne. The song ends with them splitting up.
