Schneier Electric (Euronext: SU) is a French global company. It was founded in 1836 by two brothers, Eugène I and Adolphe Schneider, who took over a troubled foundry at Le Creusot. They initially started working on weapons and armaments, but in 1891 they began to exploit the new electricity market.
