"Tell Me When to Go" is the first single from E-40's BME/Warner Bros. ebut, My Ghetto Report Card. Keak da Sneak is also featured on the track. It was produced by Lil Jon, and one of the first singles to kick off the hyphy movement on a national level. A remix was later released with Compton-based artist The Game performing the first verse, but also another version performing the second verse. Another remix featured Kanye West and Ice Cube was also made. Another remix of the song was made which features the Bay Area All-Stars (artists from the bay area involved in the Hyphy movement). The artists were B-Legit, San Quinn, Clyde Carson, Turf Talk, Richie Rich, PSD, The Federation, Tha Hoodstarz, Messy Marv, Mistah F.A.B., Yukmouth, Big Rich, J Diggs, Balance, & Too Short. A remix which features a different beat produced by Trackademicks was also released, which has become quite popular. It reached #35 in the U.S.
