Texas Sage (Leucophyllum frutescens) is an evergreen shrub in the plantago family Plantaginaceae, native to the southwestern Unite States and Mexico. It is not a true sage, having no relationship to the genus Salvia. The species is also called Texas Ranger, Silverleaf, or Cenizo.
