Thalia can refer to four istinct entities in Greek mythology, two of whom were daughters of Zeus, and a third of whom bore him sons. The name Thalia, or Thaleia, (pronounced /θə'laɪə/) is spelled θαλεια in Greek and derives from θάλλεω, “blooming”.
