The Prince of Egypt is a 1998 American animate film, the first traditionally animated film produced and released by DreamWorks. The story follows the life of Moses from his birth, through his childhood as a prince of Egypt and finally to his ultimate destiny to lead the Hebrew slaves out of Egypt, which is based on the second of the Five Books of Moses, Exodus.
