Timothy James McVeigh (April 23, 1968 – June 11, 2001), was a former ecorated United States Army soldier and security guard who was convicted of eleven United States federal offenses, and ultimately executed for his role in the April 19th, 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. The bombing, which claimed 168 lives, was the deadliest act of terrorism within United States borders until the September 11, 2001 attacks and remains the deadliest incident of domestic terrorism in the United States.
