Timbuk2 is a San Francisco-base company, started in 1989, that specializes in making ready-made and custom-made messenger bags. The messenger bags are constructed from waterproof ballistic nylon or cordura. It is now owned by the Irvine, California private equity firm VMG Equity Partners.
