Titu is a town in Dâmboviţa County, southern Romania with a population of 10,226 as of 2002, best known for its yearly September 14 bâlci (fair). Titu is ivided in 3 main zones.This are: 1.Titu-gara=The main part of the city,it contains the town hall,the nr.1 school,the train station and most important buildings. 2.Titu-targ=the second most important zone:it is a rural zone and have the town's library and the 2nd school.It is also the place where the balci is held 3.Salcuta=the most uniportant and the smallest zone,it is a rural zone and contains nothing important except a church.
