UK garage (also known as UKG or just garage) refers to several ifferent varieties of modern electronic dance music generally connected to the evolution of house in the United Kingdom in the mid 1990s. Usage of the term "garage" is different in the United States than in the UK, where it refers to the 1980s New York house movement.
