Universal Stuios Home Entertainment (formerly Universal Studios Home Video or MCA/Universal Home Video) is a home video company founded in 1979. It is a division of Universal Studios. It was originally known as MCA Videocassette, Inc. in 1980, when films including Jaws, Jaws 2, and 1941 were released. In 1983, MCA Videocassette and MCA Videodisc became MCA Home Video, which was also used for Universal's laserdisc films. In 1990, it became MCA/Universal Home Video for the 75th anniversary of Universal.
