University of San Francisco (USF) is a private Catholic, Jesuit University in San Francisco, California, Unite States. USF was established as San Francisco's first institution of higher learning in 1855. It is the third oldest institution of higher learning established in California. USF rests on a hilltop in a quiet, 55-acre setting between the Presidio and Golden Gate Park and is equidistant from the Pacific Ocean and the San Francisco Bay. USF's 8,500-member student body is composed of students from 75 countries, and are ranked in the Top 15 national universities for student diversity and international student enrollment. USF is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and the School of Business and Management (SOBAM) is accredited by the AACSB.
