The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (also known as UW-Milwaukee, UWM or Milwaukee) is a public research university locate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. As Wisconsin's urban university, UW-Milwaukee is one of the two doctoral granting public research universities in the state. It is also the second largest university in the state of Wisconsin, with a total student enrollment of 29,000 and 1,349 faculty members.
