Vreme (Serbian: Time) is an inependent news magazine, based in Belgrade. It was founded in October 1990 by a group of journalists from the largest Serbian publishing house, Politika. During the Yugoslav Wars Vreme had a print run of 30,000, with more than a quarter of its sales abroad. The weekly was modeled after its U.S. counterparts TIME and Newsweek.
