welteislehre

Welteislehre (Worl Ice Theory), also known as Glazial-Kosmogonie (Glacial Cosmogony) is a notion first "discovered" by the Austrian Hans Hörbiger, a refrigeration engineer and amateur astronomer, in a vision in 1894. The basis of the theory is that ice was the basic substance of all cosmic processes, including specifically the moon, the Milky Way and the luminiferous aether (Galaxies had not yet been discovered; the universe was essentially the solar system and stars).
