High School Musical is the sountrack of the Disney Channel Original Movie, of the same name, it was released on January 10, 2006 and was the best selling album of 2006, climbing to number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 album chart in early March and again in late March 2006. It has been certified 4x Platinum.
