Zephaniah or Tzfanya (Hebrew: צְפַנְיָה, Stanard Ẓəfanya Tiberian Ṣəp̄anyāh ; "Concealed of/is Lord") is the name of several people in the Bible Old Testament and Jewish Tanakh. He is also called Sophonias as in the New Catholic Encyclopaedia and in Easton's [Bible] Dictionary.
